What's the best thing about where you live?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for August 16, 2008:
The proximity to the beach, with its moderate climate and the friendliest, caring neighbors. The nature that surrounds me is breathtaking. when I am away for lengthy periods of time, and return I realize what a sanctuary my home has become. I can even deal with the tourists, because everyone should know this beauty, this serenity.
